About the Author

Thanks for coming to my site. This book has been a journey of about 2 years. Books take a lot of time, organization of chapters, organizing pictures, getting edits done, and getting pictures inserted in the right places within chapters. Over the past 2 years my Buddy has been with me by my laptop. Sometimes in my way, but always a big supporter.

Here is me and my buddy Mr. Lobo. Unfortunately, he passed away on 12/31/2024. Here is the funny obituary from my wife Peg below. Thanks again for reading. I cannot wait to share my finished book with you.

Lobo, the dashing tabby of many names and questionable intellect, has taken his final nap after 15 years of antics, affection, and athleticism. Adopted 14 years ago, this furry enigma made a life full of love, laughter, and laps.
Lobo had more nicknames than brain cells, ranging from "Hammy" to "King Louis” to “Dori," and perhaps a few that weren’t fit for polite company. While not the sharpest claw on the paw, he excelled in feats of acrobatics and mischief. He could chase a ball as if he was Wayne Gretzky and complete gravity-defying leaps onto forbidden surfaces that could have earned him the title of "Athlete Extraordinaire" in the feline Olympics—if only such an event existed.
A seasoned traveler, Lobo logged more miles than most humans, journeying twice a year between Colorado Springs and Las Vegas. Despite his frequent flyer status, he never quite grasped the concept of spatial awareness and often experienced post-car ride sickness which put his life in grave danger as Ms Lucy takes “survival of the fittest” seriously & would try to take him out while he was sick.
Lobo's heart, however, belonged to one person: his daddy, the love of his life and partner in crime. The two were inseparable, whether they were lounging, playing, or working on the computer “together”. His loyalty to his dad was legendary, much like his uncanny ability to choose the warmest spot in the house.
He leaves behind claw prints on our leather furniture, fur on every conceivable surface, and a hole in the hearts of all who knew him. Lobo taught us that intelligence is overrated, love is unconditional, and sometimes the dumbest cat is the funniest one.
Rest easy, Mr. Lobo. May the laps in the great beyond be warm, the kibble endless, and the counters all yours.
Love Mom & Dad

Bio: Thad’s Journey in Leadership, Community, and Passions

With over 40 years of experience in the software and technology industry, Thad has built a remarkable career marked by leadership, innovation, and impact. He actively supports model rocketry organizations like COSROCS in Colorado Springs, CO, and Team America, encouraging young minds to engage in math and science to prepare for a future in space exploration.
